The second industrial revolution started in Britain and spread globally to other countries quickly. It brought upon many changes to how things were made. Iron and steel was produced in high quantities so many railways were built. They were different methods of making iron and steel. Mass production was used in the production of many things. It was also the beginning of electricity use and machine use. Steam, coal, charcoal, and oil was also used. Instead of people making things by hand at home, people would come to factories and mass produce things at machines. During the second industrial revolution paper, petroleum, chemicals, rubber, transportation (engines and turbines) and telecommunications were made developed. The second industrial revolution was a major change in the production of goods.
